Scaldatelli
It is a typical product of the tradition of the Basilicata Region in Italy. They have a definite taste, that is maintained naturally with its characteristic fragrance.
The name Scaldatello comes from the dialect “scaudat”, that means “heated up” or “boiled”.
In fact the production process consists in the immersion of the product in the boiling water, before being baked.
The classic taste is with fennel seeds, but the Scaldatelli can be aromatised differently upon request.
The Scaldatelli are perfect companions of a glass of red wine .
